Terminology!
(sfw stands for “safe for work” or “safe for a work environment” meaning something that’s appropriate enough to be discussed even in a work environment, however the most common use of this term essentially means “not inappropriate”, whereas nsfw, “not safe for work,” or “not safe for a work environment,” means the opposite!)

AgeRe/ AgeReg - a shortened version of “age regression”.

Age dreaming/ agedre - not being in a regressed headspace but acting as though you are, also as a coping tool- can also be used to try to get yourself to regress!

Involuntary regression - when someone regresses without wanting or meaning to, often due to the circumstances around them triggering a defense reflex (this is usually a sad or unhappy regression, or an impure regression)

Impure regression - when the regressed period is unhappy; for example, crying and having a tantrum while regressed, although I hate that it’s called “impure” because it’s still safe regression, it’s just the sad part of the coping tool

Flip - one who regresses as well as acts as a caregiver/ babysitter to a regressor (the SFW version of the term “switch”)

CGLre - a strictly age regression version of the term cgl used to describe regressors who prefer having a caregiver (though not everyone is comfortable this term because it’s similar to the kink term!)

DXLG/ DXLB/ MXLG/ MXLB - age regression alternatives to kink terms such as ddlg and ddlb and the variants (though not everyone is comfortable this term because it’s similar to the kink terms!)
